NEED
As an agency with expertise in international business development and particularly in attracting foreign direct investment, the Ayuntamiento de Madrid asked us to increase Madrid’s visibility as a foreign office destination for companies specialising in technologies key for the city such as Fintech, Biotech, Big Data or Cybersecurity among others as the city can offer a value proposal of a talented workforce and attractive conditions in the Madrid economic area
SERVICE DELIVERED
In July 2018, 2 members of the team from the Ayuntamiento de Madrid visited Mexico accompanied by our local team participated in a bespoke business agenda designed to include the main companies, associations and clusters from these sectors in Mexico City, Monterrey and Querétaro. The intensive planning and coordination of the project and the networking strategy employed by the local How2Go team, brought increased visibility of brand Madrid and the advantages it offers for companies who could want to locate there.
RESULTS
Some 25 Mexican technology companies attended our event in Mexico City where meetings were held with Presidents and General Secretaries from the main employer’s associations, trade associations and technology clusters in Mexico Secretary, Monterrey and Querétaro, generating a high level of interest and introducing new contacts who began the investment process with the city of Madrid.
