Under the auspices of the trade fair brand ePower&Building, the organisers’ gave How2Go the objective to include Morocco and Colombia as hosted buyer countries, reinforcing the knowledge, presence and communications about the trade fair across both the preparation and execution phases. Furthermore to increase opportunities in the Colombian and Moroccan markets, it was necessary to attract buyers with high buying potential from both markets.
To organise 2 truly representative inbound missions we needed to:
- Presence at the trade fair
- Industry visits
- B2B meetings with exhibitors.
- A presentation to the media at the beginning and end.
- 2 round tables/specialist conferences discussing the Colombian and Moroccan construction sector made up of renowned experts from each sector, moderated by important organisations such as the Director of the Colombian Construction Association (CAMACOL) or the Moroccan embassy and industry leaders such as Jonathan Malagón, Minister of Vivienda de Colombia, and Fassi Fihri Abdelahad, Minister of Organización Territorial, Urbanismo y Vivienda.
The mission included managers or senior managers from the most important specialist construction companies and importers by sector (electricity and electronics, construction, materials ...) which created a program with more than 50 validated and specialist buyers, which impacted both countries with more than 400 visitors. Additionally, institutions, personalities and stakeholders enhanced the visibility of the event and the results of the participating exhibiting companies.
